Moveswap

The Moveswap is one of the most famous glitches in Dark Souls . It allows the player to "swap" the moveset of one weapon onto another. This effectively lets you use the attack animations of a fast weapon while wielding a much heavier, more powerful one.

The most common application involves using the Estoc or Rapier as the "source" weapon. By performing the glitch, you can apply their high-speed running , rolling and backstep attacks to heavy-hitting weapons like the Black Knight Halberd (BKH), Dragon Tooth...

Because the Bow is the only weapon type that can be two-handed in the left hand, it can be used to trick the game's logic. By performing specific actions, players can force the game to two-hand a weapon of their choice in the left hand, even if that weapon normally wouldn't allow it.

This results in a massive increase in DPS (Damage Per Second), as you are hitting with the strength of a giant hammer at the speed of a thrusting sword.

It is highly recommended to downpatch your game to make the Moveswap significantly easier.
